Sumit is a storage industry veteran with over 20 years of experience. Sumit has been focused on defining the technology roadmaps for key industry leaders including SandForce, LSI, and Toshiba. Sumit has a long history with bringing successful products to market with numerous teams and large-scale organizations.
Bryan has 20 years of experience in product development, corporate strategy, and building highly-accomplished technical teams that drive product commercialization. Bryan has partnered with some of the nation’s top VC and PE firms, working on high-profile strategic partnerships and joint ventures across multiple industries.
Scott has 29 years experience in networking, storage, high availability clustering software. He has worked extensively on network and storage protocol/device drivers and kernel. He has served as individual contributor, lead developer, team leader, and manager at companies such as Data General, IBM, Motorola, Intertel/Mitel, Sanmina, and many startups.
John Spiers has pioneered storage system innovations for more than 30 years. He co-founded LeftHand Networks in 1999, and served as CTO for the provider of virtualized, scale-out storage. Hewlett Packard acquired LeftHand in 2008. In 2010, John co-founded and served as CEO for NextGen Storage, developer of the market’s first Hybrid SAN architected with PCIe flash storage. NexGen was acquired by Fusion-io in 2013. Since then, John has held top leadership positions with data storage provider Sandisk and hyperconverged infrastructure provider Pivot3.
Steve brings 30 years experience in senior finance leadership roles, responsible for capital markets, merger & acquisition, process improvement, accounting, and contract negotiations in high-growth markets, including Software-as-a-Service. Steve was instrumental in the ~$5 billion disposition by Vista Equity Partners and Bain Capital of insurance software provider Vertafore, and he has also held finance leadership positions at Cologix, AT&T, DirectTV, and DirecTVSports Networks. Steve began his career at KPMG where he was a partner in the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications practice.
Chris is responsible for architecting cutting-edge enterprise class storage appliances & compossible infrastructures, all phases of hardware & firmware design and development, and technically leadership. Bringing over 26 years of experience innovating groundbreaking hardware & firmware as a key contributor, lead, and principal engineer for companies like Seagate, SCI-Sanmina/Newisys, and L3 Communications. Chris has a broad knowledge of the computing and storage industry.
Sandeep brings nearly 17 years of experience in the electronics hardware industry. He currently manages supply chain and procurement strategies for SemiCORE Corporation and is actively involved in the NAND market. He previously worked at PNY Technologies.
Phillip started his software career in 1994 and helped build a product line that propelled his first company to successful IPO in 1999. He previously worked at Network Photonics and Atrato. Since joining Liqid, he has been an integral part to product architecture, software implementation, and team management and has contributed to Liqid from all sides of the continuous hardware/software spectrum.
Nader brings over 20 years of Sales & Channel leadership, experience to Liqid. This experience spans global brands as well as multiple startups, several leading to acquisition exits. He has worked across many technologies including personal computing, mobile, data management, enterprise storage and data center architecture. This wide span of technologies fed the accumulation of close, strategic Channel partner relationships across the globe, enabling a quick ramp of Liqid’s global partner network.
Havish brings 20 years of experience in leading engineering, product management and customer support. From highest rated all-flash distributed storage array to the industry's first datacenter-in-a-box SAN to a modern cloud native SaaS endpoint protection cybersecurity platform, Havish has delivered innovation fueling hypergrowth for successful technology companies such as Automox, SolidFire (acquired by NetApp) and LeftHand Networks (acquired by HP).
Eric has 20 years of sales and technical management experience in the public and private sectors. He has extensive experience in Enterprise IT transformation utilizing next generation data center technologies and management techniques. His experience spans leadership roles in multiple startups, system integrators, and the US Federal government. Eric received his Masters of Science from George Washington University and his Bachelors of Science from Georgetown University.
